मुसीबत मे किसी एक प्यारे साथी का हाथों मे हाथ चाहिए,

उस दोस्त के चोट लगने पर हम भी दो आँसू बहाने का हक़ रखें,

मैं तो तैयार हूँ हर तूफान को तैर कर पार करने के लिए,

पर कोई, जो कहे सच्चे मन से अपना दोस्त, ऐसा एक दोस्त चाहिए

दोस्ती सच्ची हो तो वक़्त रूक जाता है
आसमा लाख ऊंचा ही मगर झुक जाता है
दोस्ती में दुनिया लाख बने रूकावट
अगर दोस्त सच्चा तो खुदा भी झुक जाता है.

दोस्ती वो एहसास है जो मिटता नहीं
दोस्ती वो पर्वत है जो झुकता नहीं इसकी कीमत क्या पूछो हमसे
ये वो अनमोल मोती है जो बिकता नहीं

So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone. Life has now been explained to you.
